Javelin 21 MSX dual console

Anyone know anything about this boat? Got a friend looking at a 2002 with the same year Evinrude (not a HO). Boat looks like it's in good shape and the motor has reasonable hours on it. He's been in my Champion Fishunter and likes my boat. How will this compare to that ride? Asking price is 20K

seems like a high price to me for a 7 year old boat. I have a 18 javelin, rides pretty nice.

I agree with cubs. According to the NADA price that boat is only worth $16K average retail. If I was going to spend $20k on a boat I would look for something else. Also you have to remember that Javelin is not made anymore. I would see what i could get at a dealer for $20K.

As far as the ride goes I had an 18 Venom and it would ride fine.

Since that model year was also probably a stratos I'd look at the stratos prices for the same boat and offer a little less. The javelins of that year should have been a little less expensive than the same stratos due to lesser electronics.
