    Sea Star

Took my 294 out for the first time this year today. Ran like a champ. 76.2 GPS. My issue is that at anything above 50 MPH it was really hard to turn the boat to the left and easier than normal to turn it to the right. Never been like that. Anything i can check?

Just spend time with the boat and learn it. Had a bass cat before and this is a totally differet ride. That 76 was with a little over a quarter tank and just four rods!! Make sure you follow the break in though!!!

The boat has four hours on it from demo stuff. Long story there, as are all stories with boats.

I cannot wait to let this thing eat.

I'm assuming you've got hydro steering - have you checked the fluid? Maybe moved the motor some? Mine would steer like that when running the motor a little too high on the plate.

Now that i think about it your right. We moved the motor up last fall some and it may have been too much. I hate to lose the speed i get out of it now though by dropping the motor. PSI was a tad above 15

I have a 27 Tempest that I run in the summer and I was getting that hard left steering to. I dropped the jack down a 1/4" and lost RPM's, but picked up some speed. Steering issue went away to.
