any suggestions, it will be installed on a 2005, 285proxl want to be able to turn around and use it upfront also. a ram mount? if so which one? thanks for any advice

I would RAM mount it. That would make it easy to spin around and remove altogether. Not sure on the model number, but look for one of the 1.5" models. You should be able to go to their website and do a search/lookup based on the unit you want to install, and they will tell you which one is recommended.

I have a lcx 20c and I wish it was up on the bow. I rarely turn it around while fishing. I do have it on a 3 or 4 inch ram mount and it is capable of moving enough to spin around if necessary.
