Stratos 21SS info needed, Trying to decide whether to trade or not?

I like the looks of the Stratos 21SS and see some with what I think is a good price. Would like to get some owner input on likes and dislikes. I just can't make my mind up on trading off my 98 Stratos 295 PE with a newly overhauled Yamaha for what might be someone elses problem child. I look forward to your input.

    Thanks
    Mark

Re: Stratos 21SS info needed (Extra260)

I've had mine for like 3 yrs. Nice & Stable good ride. Lots of storage & handles pretty good. Coming out of the hole it leans to the left but straightens out & goes. 71.5 gps best sp. loaded w/225 FICHT. Haven't had any trouble w/mtr. just had to redo brake system. I moved up from a 16' Hydrs-Sport w/ 90 Merc & no regrets.

any questions let me know & I'll try to answer w/limited knowledge.

Re: Stratos 21SS info needed (stratos4583)

Thanks Guys for the replies. I realy like my 295 PE but would like to have just a little more room. What is the beam width on the 21SS? I think mine is 92" and I'm guessing the SS is around 95'? C&O just put a rebuilt 01 200 VMAX on mine and it should be good for a long time but I just have the urge to trade!

i have on and love it if you want more room these boats have tons of storage space and really nicely layed out decks, mine has a 225 merc efi and ive had it up to 72 gps i thinks its worth about 16 thousand, good luck.

Mark, I got a 99 21ss, it is where that rude motor came from. I love mine. I listed mine a while back for 15,000. Was thinking i would like newer but it is hard to let go this one it has ton of room, and floats like a carrier.

Hi Troy, hope things have neen going well for you. I still have the Rude. That is another reason that I have been leaning towards a 21SS. I figured I would have plenty of spare parts if needed and the price of boats with the Ficht on them is a lot lower. I'm thinking if I can find one at a dealer somewhere I should be able to trade my rig for a prettty decent deal?

Absolutely love it! Great in rough water, solid boat, lots of room, i can get about 66mph with the 200 Fitch. I wish i had a 250 on it, but i love mine

I saw the one that C&O had listed. That is a nice looking rig! I will have to get up with Todd and get the low down on it!

I have a 22 SS 2000 model and LOVE it , not the fastest but has rod lockers I can get inside(HUGE) and storage every where. Johnson 225 H.O. gps 70 MPH (fast enough for me).

I've had my 2000 21 SS since April of 08 and I love the thing. I like the storage and the overall fishing room that it has. Equipped very nicely and the fastest I have had it is 74 gps with a 2000 Ficht. No problems so far. Good luck with your decision.
