Need a piece for my boat!!!!

I have a 2006 200proxl, I had to move the GPS module to gain better reception. Now i have a 3/4" hole in my console. It is at the flat part where the non-skid rubber mat is. I thought I would remove the rubber (with the hole in it) and glue a small piece of 3/4" dowel in the hole of the console, them put a new piece of rubber over it, cover it up and the eye sore would be gone.

Looking for that piece of rubber already cut out in the pattern.
IS IT AVAILABLE?? Here is a pic of what I need.

I can get that piece for you. It is inexpensive. Give me a call when you get a chance.

    Kenny,
I purchased a piece of the diamond pattern rubber, about 16" square from Carol at C & O. Made a template out of paper, using the passenger side as the pattern, and flipped it over to cut the rubber for the driver's side. Glued it down with contact cement.

Where did you move the module? Did you have enough wire? I'm having reception problems, too.

You could leave the antenna where it is located but raise the antenna. You will need a Ram 112 mount and a antenna spat mount. The antenna would then be about the same height as the console. You should see a stronger antenna signal. The antenna needs to have a clear view of the sky...the higher you get the antenna into open air space the better view of the sky.

My Javelin...I have no idea why my pic is so small. Matt has his Ram 112 mounted directly to the boat. I raised mine even higher buy mounting it to a plate and the putting the plate on my Ram 111 with my head unit.

This may be a dumb question but you guys don't have "WASS required" checked on the GPS menu of your unit do you? Mine is in the very spot you say you have problems & I've never had a problem with it connecting & disconnecting on me. Just thought I would ask.

That was the first thing I checked before I had to move mine.

I had a LMS 520c mounted in the same spot with the gps module about 14-16 inches away, never had a problem with it, then I got the opportunity to get a 113c at a great deal. So I moved the 520 to the front, mounted the 113 at the bow on the same ram mount, and net worked the two together. The 113 never would hold a signal, checked the position error it was 462 feet, "test" moved the module right behind the drives seat on the back deck, the position error went to 46 feet, a huge correction. So I mounted it there, and has not had a problem since.
