Very nice clean boat, I think she asked for pictures of the seats too, pre and post repair would be nice.

    Re: Seat repair (Todd Morgan)

Todd, I was thinking of selling this boat I know it has some age to it but the whole boat is as you see here, garage kept since new. It has new maxxum pro 80, 3 bank guest charger, new jackplate and tempest 25 prop, lms332 w/gps @ console, 102c up front, all compartments including the livewells are lighted, two new Trojan batteries, new keel guard, coverand 2 spare predator props… no gel coat cracks and never been sanded on. The motor is in top condition with new oms/vro pump, fresh built carbs, rectifier and compression 115-119. I was thinking $9000-$9500 am I way off or is it possible... your not going to hurt my feelings. I just know that most are around 7000 - 7500 but outdated electronics and neglected!

    Re: Seat repair (fishnfool38)

I've had some nice one's that brought 8500.

The main thing to do when advertising is let the ad reflect the shape the boat is in.....a magazine ad with 1 photo can't show that. Here on BBC you can state your case and back it up with a bevy of pics showing it's pristine condition.

I think 9K would come fairly easy. None of the 7000 boats are in that shape and have the updated TM and electronics.

    Re: Seat repair (rustyhook2)

My 2000 Renegade 19 had split seams on the top of the buckets.
I brought it to the upholstry guy I use for my cars. He said the material had shrunk enough that re-stitching wouldn't give me the wear and tear I wanted, that the original vinyl, or the stitching, would pull out again.

I replaced portions of the seat backs with new material. Came out great, and has a little extra give at the seams so they won't pull apart again. You can see the seats in the boats for sale section. I think the bill was about $150 for two seats, and I pulled the 11,287 staples out of the seat before I brought it to him.

I have extra material if you need it. It's grey.
