Need Stratos owners help! Looking to buy a Stratos, coments wanted.

Hey guys,
Im looking to upgrade to a newer, longer, wider, more decked boat. Im looking for a 20-21 footer with a 225 or 250 on it. What are the good, bad and ugly of the Stratos in this range. Im looking to spend about 20K and I can get a nice boat from the 2001-2003 year ranges with a Evinrude or Yammy 225 for that dollar amount I think. Tell me if this would be a good dependable boat and motor for me. I love the way they look but theres more to a good bass boat then that. Please give me your honest opinions please. Include what model you have, have had, wish you had ect ect. I dont know much about them so Im wanting to hear it all please. My uncles got a 95 Stratos with a 175 Evinrude and its a running machine and a good riding boat. Kinda opened my eyes to Stratos, and they fact that they look cool on the trailer and in the water Thanks in advance!!!

Contact C&O marine...........I would think you could probably get into a 03 or 04 for close to that price, possibly a little more.

2002 Magnum 21XL 225 Johnson on the back, absolutely love the boat, handles rough water great, very large deck on the front, plenty of storage room and is very fast. I wouldn't trade it for anything...well maybe a new one.

May not be the answer you are looking for but Mine is a old one 90, 201pro. Just got it this year. Best purchase I have ever made. I may not pass many boats on the water or gas stations but it's comfortable and could not be happier. I will buy another 201 if I ever hit the lottery.

I have a 95 268 W/115 evinrude. Besides my trolling motor probs which have nothing to do with the boat. The boat being on the smaller side 17' and smaller motor, the hull is absolutely great. Drier ride than many 18 20 footers I've been in. rolls over wakes, and stable when fishing. Just my .02 And for 20K you should be able to get into something really nice, definetly not a 2000!! try 04 or 05!! with this economy the boat places are dying to sell boats right now. for that kind of dough look around.... you'll find it.

I had a 2003 Stratos. Dont think you can go wrong... as long as you have a Yamaha on the back

Absolutely love my 07 Stratos 201 Pro XL with an ETEC 225 HO, wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. This boat has a lot of storage, and fishes great. Most of the time I don't even notice the person on the back of the boat moving while they are fishing. Great ride, and get alot of looks while I'm at the ramp.

Great looking boat! Would love for more Stratos owners to tell how much they like or dislike things about their boats. One thing for sure, they look fast sitting on the trailer! Really sharp boats!

I got into the low end Stratos model 176XT last year and the fit and quality of construction are awesome. Pretty basic equipment and no frills, but very solid boat!! I would assume the higher end boats are built with the same quality and fit only with all the bells and whistles. I would buy another Stratos boat without hesitation!!!!

My 2003 had some minor stress cracks in the splashwell area and around the step up to the front deck, probably because I ran the chit out of that boat. Other than those cracks and a few normal wear and tear parts it was a great boat. Still looked good the day I traded it in.

I have a 2004 model 195 ProXL. I absolutely love this boat. The boat has tons of storage, good hole shot and great top end (73 GPS). The boat still looks awsome. I have to add that when I wanted to add some bling to my boat Stratos customer service has been outstanding.

I have a 07 200XL with a 225 Yamaha.......love every minute I can spend in it. A little slow out of the hole with a full load but will easily run in the mid 70's and has one of the smoothest ride you can find these days.

PS....If you can't get a deal at C & O......your not gonna found one!!
