    Johnson 15 HP tiller How do I find out what year?

    I just bought a 15hp johnson tiller for my john boat. The guy said it was a 1992 model, but it looks alot newer. Does anyone know how to check the model year? Thanks in advance Joe

    What's the model number? you can look in the One stop shopping section and find it that way.

    Johnson 15hp Rope start 15" 1993 model.
    Look at the top of the Johnson/Evinrude forums and about the fifth topic down, you'll see the One Stop Shopping, it has all kinds of info about OMc/BRP motors. Model years, etc....
