tilt and trim

i need some input on what type (Brand) of tilt and trim would work best for my Bass boat. do i need a spacer? also about how much does a Johnson 40hp wiegh?

I think CMC makes a bolt on TandT unit or it could be just a tilt unit I'm not sure. I think I've seen something like it in the BPS marine catalog. I'll look at it tomorrow and get back to ya.
