    Table Rock Family Friendly Resorts

    Hello All,

Need some help with accommodations. We're beginning to plan a trip to Table Rock for April 2017. Looking for a family friendly resort for some fun for the kids. A playground and indoor pool would help me sell the wife of the destination. An on-site boat ramp, or within a few minutes drive would be nice. I'm leery about keeping it in a slip over the course of a few days, but if not completely opposed to it. Thanks for the ideas.

Bass pro shops Big Cedar would be a great choice but expensive. A ton of stuff for kids to do.

Big Cedar would be the last place I would go for a vacation on Table Rock. It is way too busy to relax. You have to walk about a half mile to get to the lake and then back up the mountain. I would prefer a quiet resort right on the Lake.

    Big Cedar!!!
Look on Craigslist in Springfield, MO. People on there all the time selling their timeshare weeks or weekends. It can be fairly inexpensive doing it that way. We have done that the last 5 years with no problems

I always stay at Mill Creek Resort. It's not a big fancy resort but it is clean and relaxing. The owners are super nice people also and will go out of their way to make your stay awesome.

Stillwater's at Indian Point; awesome family amenities(mini-golf on resort grounds, small restaurant and general store on resort; multiple pools; elevators to room floors in larger buildings; free water sport use-kayaks/paddle boards/water-trikes; boat rentals if needed; very close walk to lake and 5 minute drive to Silver Dollar City)........check pricing on and off peak season; HUGE differences.

I second the Village. Great people, both indoor and outdoor pools. Indian Point marina is just down the street. We bought thefe last year and love it.

You can check out the Port Of Kimberling at Kimberling City. It is more like a hotel/motel type building. They have a place to park your boat on the trailer if you don't want to leave it in a slip. There is a ramp right there too. Puts you in the middle of the lake so you can go both ways to sight see the lake.

Friends of ours stayed there while we stayed in our camper in the campground. We were in there room some and it was pretty nice.

Branson is not too far away if you want to do any shows or anything. If you want to do shows; Dixie Stampede is the best and a must see!! The magician Rick Thomas is very good also.
