201 Windshield

I ordered a new windshield for my 2004 201 from Carol @ C & O, I got it today and the one I received is about 4" shorter than the one I'm replacing and the one good one still on the boat. The new one is also tinted very dark where the original ones were clear. I called the manaufacturer and they said they "might" be able to match my larger one if I shipped it to them. Am I the only one that's had this problem or am I the only one that's broken a windshield? Anyone know where I can get the larger one?

Didn't know they ever put the clear, taller ones on the 201. Take a picture of what you have and send it to Carol or just post it on here. I'll bet they've got it.

I have the clear tall windshields and I got one from C&O that matches...Mine measures 20 3/8" from the bottom front to the top edge...The part # Carol sold me was 7W542 ...

Thanks for the assistance. I sent him what was suppose to go to his boat. I'll have to get Reeda to get a picture of the 7W542 on the web site.
Hang in there! It will be warming up in Ind. soon, then you can worry about the humidity! Better you than me!

Carol took care of this issue, THANK YOU CAROL! You must be THE WOMAN aournd there, I called yesterday when I got the windshield and saw it was not the one I needed and you had left for the day and NO ONE wanted to handle it, they suggested I call back "When Carol is here"...

BTW...I never complain about the humidity, it's something I don't have to shovel so it's all good!

Hopefully no more shoveling for the year...I'm just waiting for the day I have to use the boat to push the truck thru all the high water....
