I turn my gas handle upside down..helps some..would think somebody has found a better way

Yep, on my 201 I turn the handle upside down and put the fuel in at about half speed...anything above that and it will burp back out. I also try to short fill it and leave it about 5 gallons shy of full since I will never use a full tank anyways...

I agree with AB. Nozzle inverted, start out slow, then if you hold your mouth just right you can feed her pretty fast. Really makes a mess if you try to top it off.
I pull in to the station to fill with the tank on the high side if the concrete has a little slope or as above mentioned. I have been told that the tube sags between the tank and filler cap, creating an air gap, but I have not pulled panels off to fix it yet. you would think that Stratos would have addressed the by now.
They have on the 07's and up. Completely different vent design.
I carry a 12'' piece of a 4x4 and run the trailer up on it on the fill side and that seems to help.![]()
i saw somewhere on here, maybe another topic? but, the discussion was something about shortening the tube inside inside the tank to give it more air as the fuel level rises? i dont remember,i may have misunderstood what they were talking about, but i know it was a stratos boat fuel tank issue.![]()
