I was told that the 2007 and 2008's only come in 4 color schemes. Is this true? If so, what colors are they? thanks

Their are standard 'no extra cost' color schemes. You can pay extra and get anything though.
Basics are White with any color stripes, Blue (2 different ones) with Silver, Red with Silver, and not sure of others.

do you happen to know what the extra cost is to order? my local dealer told me that i couldn't order colors on a 285. he said I would have to get a 201 to get that option. he also said it only comes with a vmax which i thought was weird cause i have seen them for sale with merc's. do you know?
If that is the case, it changed for '08, but I just can't believe that is the case. The 176 and 186 only comes in certain colors but I haven't heard that about the 285.
That is not true about only getting a Yamaha on one. Here are a couple of pics of some '08's at C&O.

There are 11 standard schemes for 08. There is an any color scheme charge you can add to the 275 and up....not the 176/186 tho.
I won't go into paint scheme price so as not to step on your dealers toes. Most schemes can be found on my site on varying models.
I really didn't do much custom stuff this year cause the 11 schemes are very good and cover almost all the bases.
Sounds like you need to talk to a dealer who is willing to sell you the boat you want and not just the boat they have.
When I was in the market for a boat several years ago I couldn't tell you how many dealers looked at me like I was nuts for wanting to order a boat exactly like I wanted it. They all wanted me to buy whatever they had in inventory.
Texas is a state where Stratos has not been a prominant brand. The dealer may be new to Stratos and not fully versed in all that is there. The brand has pushed hard to get new dealers in that area.
I'm a new dealer for Allison and ProCraft.......I have a lot to learn about their systems...even tho I know Stratos inside and out.
Please give your local guy a chance!
I would tell your guy to give Todd a call so he can be schooled in Stratos 101!!![]()
I'd take that blue and silver one in the top photo in a second. Nice combination of colors and motor.![]()
