I'm seriously considering this boat. What are your thoughts on it? Any other boats out there that have the same value/performance for the price as this boat?

It's going to be tough to beat that boat for a "value" rig. Before I bought I would for sure talk with Todd Morgan or Russ about Procraft since they just picked up that line. IMO They make a good "value" boat as well, and the dealership is one of if not the best in the country.
If you are willing to look at a pre-owned 294 I fished with ClintS here on the BBC and he is selling his hopefully before he leaves for the "sandbox", if he has not already. I know he is motivated to move it since he will be gone for a while and I can vouch that 294 runs and fishes fantastic, looks new, and has lots of warranty to the new owner.
Good luck on your search!![]()
thanks John. i'm already over here. but Todd and the gang have my boat down at C&O on the consignment lot.
the 294 is an awesome rig. in my opinion, it is the best value for the dollar out there. no other 19 footer has the speed and ride of the 294, and it fishes like it's a much larger boat. it's easy and fun to drive. it is a serious "tournament" boat that the working man can afford.
I completely agree, GREAT boat !!
You've just read a couple of owners post their thoughts. That says alot. The hulls are proven performers and the they're fast. Lots of storage and access to everthing. The hull has been around for a while as the 195, 295, and now 294. It' a popular boat and it is the best value in a 200 DFI equipped 19.5 ft boat. Find one and take a ride, it will answer all your questions.

Thanks a lot. I think the boat looks great and I will definitely try and take one for a spin. Do you think the size of the boat will be good enough for Lake Michigan?
It will be as good or better than any other 19' boat on that lake. As with anything, driver skill and common sense go a long way in certain situations.![]()

That's very true. I'll definitely be checking the weather on the lake to see what the waves will be like before even thinking about going on it.

The 294 is the best boat for your money with out a doubt. They run real good for a 19.6 inch boat and handle the rough water real good especially for a 19 foot boat. We have five of those left over in 2007 models and have them priced right. Rodney
