DEALER IS THIS AREA HAS A 2005 STRATOS 200 DUO/DC WITH A 225 ETECT.
THIS WAS A CROSS OVER BOAT STRATOS MADE FOR SALTWATER USE. DEALER HAS ONE ON HIS LOT. HAS BEEN SITTING OUT SO LONG THE TOPCAP IS FADDED. HE WOULD SELL IT TO ME FOR $36,600. I CHECKED WITH A LOCAL FIBERGLASS REPAIR SHOP AND HE SAID THE MOST HE WOULD CHARGE TO RE-PAINT THE TOP OF THE BOAT, TOPCAP AND FLOOR WOULD BE $2000.00. MY QUESTION FOR YOU EXPERTS IS WHAT WOULD BE THE VALUE OF A 2005 200 DUO/DC WITH A 225 ETECH?

Didn't know they ever made a 200 Duo. The only ones I ever saw or heard about were 201 Duos.

Value with the work needing to be done? $26,600.

I THINK YOU ARE RIGHT. IT IS A 201 YA, HE IS WAY TO HIGH. HE WAS ALSO SAYING HE WOULD JUST GIVE THE BOAT AWAY? SO MUCH FOR GIVING AWAY. IT HAS BEEN SITTING ON HIS BACK LOT LEFT UNCOVERED.

Is it used??????????? If it has been left out, uncovered, for that long, you will want to replace the seats too! $1300 for a new set.

Even if it has sat outside its whole life - its still a 2005 boat. I'm surprised the top cap could fade that bad in just a couple of years. Are you sure it can be brought back through buffing?

WOULD NOT KNOW ABOUT THE BUFFING. IT JUST LOOKS TO BAD TO ME. I WOULD STILL THINK THE PRICE IS TOO HIGH?
