Just go sign the papers, And make payments like the rest of us. I wave my hands and fingers when the bills come in every month. Don't work for me either.

Re: I am Boat lonely (brokeagin)

Naw if I am going to send Duane to the factory to do something it will be oversee quality control and do the final buffing and spit shine.

He even cleans the inside of his boats livewell! I hear he gives em a white sock test from time to time

Dudes boat always looks better than when it came off the truck from the factory.

For the record. . . my livewell story!

White sock test 'eh? I guess everyone around here knows about that one by now. . . . that is a pretty good laugh.

Well, for those of you that don't know I'll share. . . .

I'm glad we can laugh at our selves. . Brent Anderson and I were fishing a tournament in March a three years ago. It was cold but not bitter cold. We had an early blast off number and got to go out quick. Within a few yards of blastoff, we got into some schooling fish. Brent caught one and was bringing it in. I flipped on the livewell and it began filling with water. I left a lid open on one side so I could throw his fish in and keep an eye on the water level. Well, I hung a fish too. I set the hook and took a step back and felt myself go down what seemed like two feet. One leg was in the livewell. Keep in mind this is within sight of all the yahoo's blasting off who are witnessing my moment of embarrassment. I can't believe I was thinking. . "maybe they don't know who I am. . . "

I didn't want to have a sopping wet sock and shoe on all day so I took off my shoe to it let it air dry and I put my sock on the anchor light pole to dry. I slid it down over the light. Apparently, this was a point of laughter as well. Eventually my sock and boot dried out during the day. To top it off, I went to throw my carolina rig and wrapped it around Brent's anchor post. . . it looked like a bolo going around it. Not my day. . .

To top it off, Todd said he knew about it minutes after it happened. It's funny how stuff like this gets around. You just never know who's watching. . . .

And that is my "livewell" story.

That is one funny story. But, it's even funnier when you hear Brent tell it as he impersonates Duane.

But to add, I thought there was a point where the sock wasn't totally dry so when you guys would run, you'd hold the sock up in the air and let it catch the wind (ala windsock) to try and help it dry. Whether you did or not, it was still part of Brent's story and just made it even funnier.

    You gotta roll with it!

We've pretty much destroyed Layne's thread but I'm missing my rig too. It's at the shop having some trailer brake work done. I've not had it in the water yet. Looking forward to getting it wet soon.

Jason, he is really getting his engine swaped out since your boat is not ready yet.

Let us know how it performs Duane.

Now if you guys know Duane you know to expect some pimp daddy powder coated calipers on his trailer or something.
