    Prop height and steering torque?

The boat in my sig with a Renegade 25 at 3.5" below the pad has a lot of steering torque (hard to turn left). I just got my GPS and ready to start playing with the engine height but wondered if going higher with the engine is going to increase my steering torque?

Re: Prop height and steering torque? (Jlong)

you should hit a sweet spot where it is easier. but you will always have it to some degree or another . the only way to get rid of it is to get hydro steering , it is still there but easier to work with.
