It'll run good. With a 200, it's a rocket. With a 175 set up right, you should run around 70'ish. More so in the 68-70 range. It is a pretty efficient hull though.

Jason, do you know what the difference was between the "Pro" and the "Silver Star"?

Zelmo, the last two digits of the serial number tell all as it is the model year. Get the s/n and you have the model year. Hope that helps a little.

I am pretty sure the Silver Star was a certain option package. I cannot remember if it included extra options or had fewer options.

The Silver Star had fewer standard features.

The boat in the picture appears to be pretty loaded. It has pumpout, the upgraded tandem trailer with lazer cutouts and the good transom tie downs. This boat will not have the floating consoles like the 195/295 did in '04.

Yes, there are carryovers from year to year that do overlap. That boat would have been a very early '04, meaning it was built in '03. The changeover time in the boating world is relatively early in the year (June-July). If there are previous year boats in the pipeline, they will go ahead and build them with the new model year numbers.

The 'XL' boats were officially discontinued after the '03 model year. But, as you have found, there are a few '04s around.

Don't know about a silverstar but I have a 2002 19xl prostar with a 200 Opti and it came loaded, and yes that hull is flat out quick,
