Since the last World event, Stratos' boss only had 13 people ask about the next one.....Genmar sees that as a lack of interest. Most folks assume it's going to be business as usual and feel no need to ask.......
Since they want proof we want to have it we'll give it to them!

Sent ... also expressed my displeasure about Stratos limiting the Platinum program to 2000 model year and newer boats. I'm starting to think that I should consider another brand that actually appreciates all it's customers, and not just the ones who can afford to buy a new boat every couple of years!

Got a reply back : said no owner tourney in the works ? I don't care if they offer money to win a tourney or not just the chance to get together with other stratos lovers like me !

Got this reply from Stratos:
There will be no Stratos Owners Tournament for 2007.
The entire Stratos contingency program has been revised for 2007.
Stratos is offering contingencies on a tournament-by-tournament basis,
to be administered by the tournament organizers. There is no need to
register with Stratos for any of the awards. Simply owning a qualifying
model year Stratos boat will automatically put you in the running if the
tournament is participating in the program.
Not all tournaments will participate, so check with the organizers of
any tournament you plan to enter to see if Stratos contingency money is
being awarded.
There will be a model year restriction on qualifying Stratos boats.
This may vary by tournament, so check with the organizers on that as
well.
Again, there is no registration requirement. Everything is being
administered by the organizing body of each tournament or series. All
questions should be directed to them.
We hope this answers your questions. If we may be of additional
assistance, please let us know.

Doesn't sound to me like there's gonna be any customer appreciation /owners T's from them.Somehow, I'm really not surprised after they way things went last year.

I sent an e-mail last night asking about the tournament and I also voiced my opinion on the lack of a Platinum Program for us that own older rigs...I got the same response as Bob20 (copy and pasted) so obviously they dont give a chit cause they obviously didn't answer my questions about the older boats...
