I figured I wasn't seeing a whole lot of positive on here lately and figured someone needed to change the mood. I love the way my rides, how it handles, how fishable it is, and especially how it makes the heads turn when I am travelling down the road!!Oh, yeah I really like the fact that that outside of the local bullet speed demon I ain't getting passed....

I feel the same way Billy! I love going to a tourney around here knowing that nobody is going to run with me except for some of our 200ProXL's that are around this area. It handles like a dream, looks great sitting on pad scooting down the lake, and treats me just as good as I treat her.
AB you hit 80 yet? I'm figuring with the cooling temps you'll be there by years end.

Here on the Potomac River it can get pretty rough but as long as I'm in my 201 I'm not skeeeeered.

Not yet. Just got a 28TXP, I'm going to send it to Mark and let him work his magic. It will be my best shot to get 80. If I do, though, it is going to be with a full fishing load. I'm not going to strip the boat just to say I did it. I want it to be a real world number. But this TXP is the chit. Put the boat in with full load, full fuel. The 28 Raker ran 77.5 at 5700. Back to the ramp, put the 28TXP on. 78.67 at 5750. We are still 80* here too. Hasn't cooled off too much.
So far I love mine. I have always been a Merc. guy but after my first year of ownership my Johnson has given me nothing to complain about. Oh yeah the motor on my boat has been good also. Sorry I couldn't pass that one up. But yeah Great Product.
No complaints about my rig. It looks and runs great, plenty of storage. Just about everyone who has riden with me that knows boats has said it is a great riding boat. Even took a boatless friend of mine who had just sold his TR21, said my 18 fter rode better than what he just sold. Last piece to my puzzle is a jackplate (Santa... I been a good boy) and then my boat will have all I could possibly want.

Best lookin' boat on the water. Best riding boat I have ever had. ( I had another 201ProXL for 8 years and this one rides much better)
Plus it can run 75-77 mph GPS loaded with 2 guys, fuel and gear. Not many gonna touch me with that kinda speed. Especially since this is RangerSled country up here!
Only problem is too much storage room and I can get too much gear in it
Damn I'm sorry got so busy talking about my Johnson, forgot to post on the boat its self. I'm very pleased with my boat it fishes bigger than a 18' boat. Handles great, and looks sharp. I'm still learning about Stratos boats but so far they are at the top of my list when I'm ready to upgrade
I love my '93 379T javalin and '94 150 'rude. It does 60 mph at 5000 turns, rides rough water well, and fishes great. Bought it used for $6600 and put a new 85# motorguide and Lowrance 332c. The boat knows more about fishing than I do! And looks great.

I love my 201. like others say I don't get passed not even by a bullet(unless the columbia is flat like that happens) nothing rides like a STRATOS. Only boat I ever heard the old man say rides better than his champion,And just plain looks hot.

Its nice to see this is still going!! There are alot more Stratos/Javelin owners on here than this. Come on guys. Be proud of your boat.
Look as good as any, better price than the rest and enough storage to sink one. And one thing Ive noticed it just dont get stuck on stumps like some of the rest.
Yep, I love lots of things about my Stratos. I love being able to pass my mate in his Skeeter in rough water and be able to let go of the steering wheel and take photo's of his ride bouncing up and down. I love being able to drive at 55 mph with 4 on board in 20 knots and still be able to listen to my music, and send an SMS on the 'phone. Most of all I love being able to catch Murray Cod and Barramundi in the most comfortable ride around.
