I have a 2004 stratos 295 pro xl. It was a theft recovery boat that I put back together. It had never been in the water or titled until I got it. Only has been in the water 4 or 5 times. Has a 1992 tandem trailer. I have put a 1988 omc 110 on it, so it is rigged for a Johnson. Also have controls for a Yamaha. E-mail me if you might be interested. Tdeertrackfarm@aol.com Brian

I know a guy who has a 1990 Skeeter (19 fter?) with a blown cylinder Johnson. He just ordered a new Triton so he will probably be looking to sell. Boat itself is in great shape for its age.

guys thanks for the help,looking for project boat,i have a 175 johnson,the boat i have is way heavy,gotta redo it anyway just thought id look around for lighter boat,anymore keep em comming.thanks

whoa ....... lighter boat? if you are headed in that direction then an 82 or such aint gonna be the way to go. basically only boats from about 95-96 are the lighter ones. and it seems that you may be wanting a boat for little or no money. I hate to say it but if you decide to get a old boat for a couple grand you get what you pay for. Now if you want a little rocket try to find a 189 dynatrack from the late 80's to the early 90's can handle your motor but is a bear on turns ( skids a lot) due to almost no chines. as stated before in most cases you will get what you pay for and I hope you dont get one and have the transom go on ya due to you wanting to save a few bucks.
