Are you asking for Brand or CCAs. The DI's and E-TECs require 1000 CAs according to tha gurus.

If you are talking brands, Interstate, Deca or Nautilus per Championman, Although some say Etecs can take a small cca battery because of their magneto style electrical system, stick with 1000 cca if you run alot of auxillary items on the boat.

Get the highest CCA and ROC you can afford (usually a group 30 or 31) it will have at least 1000 CCA, mine is a Cabela's AGM with 1525 CCA. Remember your engine requires a lot of juice to crank and run it's electronics BUT it also supplies the power to EVERY accessory in your boat: lights, bilges, areator, fill and recirculate pumps and your electronic GPS/ sonar units. You can never have too much power or capacity.
