Questions about a Javelin 390A

Im having some trouble locating information about this boat. I found one for sale in St. Cloud (Kissimmee), Fl. It has a 48hp evenrude. I know that is small, the guy said it runs between 30-35mph. This will be the first fiberglass bass boat for me, ive just always went out on my dads. I kind of want to surprise him with it so i dont want to take him with me. Im going to try and head over this weekend and see it. Does anyone know where I can find a little more information on this boat? Does it have wood stringers? What do i need to look for? Thanks guys!

I don't recall Javelin making a 390A... are you sure about the numbers?

That's what the add said. Like i said, ive never seen anything more than a picture. That would explain me not being able to find info on it though...

Probably a 350A. I had one with a 48spl on it. It was my first fiberglass boat and I really liked it. It is a 15'6" boat rated at 70hp and storage is limited and it can get cramped with two people and all their gear but I still really liked the boat. Mine did not have power trim and tilt so you cannot control the angle of your boat. It plowed more water that it should have but with a 70 with pt&t it will run real good. Hope this helps.
