Flywheel removal, 1977 25 hp Evinrude, #25702S, E0001527

I need to replace the flywheel on this motor, as the current one is all beat up where the nylon recoil arm engages the ears on top of the flywheel. Does anyone have any tips on removing the flywheel? How do you keep the flywheel from turning, when removing the nut? Is the flywheel nut standard threads or reverse threaded? What is the torque value for the flywheel nut?

I am going to tear into this tomorrow morning.

I have a manual on CD for this motor, but it is not worth the CD that it is printed on.

Never mind. I got it off after quite a bit of work. The nut was tough to break loose and I had to work at it for some time with the puller to get the flywheel loose. All is good, I have the replacement flywheel installed.
