I have no power to the motor it will not do anything when I turn the key. I just bought a new battery and put in it in. My trim will not work unless I unhook the cables from the battery and then reconnect them. The trim will then work fine till I try and crank the motor and then the trim is dead again. I tried leaving off all the other cables (charger, lights, pumps, etc.) and it does not have any different outcome. Guess I got a new battery for no reason. I ran the motor in the driveway some time in October for about 15 mins with the waterhose hooked up and the boat has not been used since. Thanks for the help.

I hate to start with the obvious, but I would start with the kill switch, ignition wires at key and check all grounds etc!

I lean toward the neutral safety switch. here is a diaghram of the key switch which can help troubleshoot the problem. http://continuouswave.com/whal....html

+1 with Danrude. Disconnect the Deutsch connector from the main harness and try the trim on the motor.
