    Post Got her dialed in!!!!

I've been hearing all this talk of warm weather slowing your boat down, mine just got faster! Checker her out:

LOL!!!!!!! Not sure why it says that. I was reading another thread and went out and looked at my Trip Calculator---there it was. Now, if you take the 4 off of it, I have seen 77 before.
Anybody got any ideas why it is showing 477?

The boat probably went to the tavern and got high, and made a run for it, while you were sleeping.

I really wish I knew why it shows that. I wish it was showing my real top speed.

So I went to the bow and pulled up the HDS9 and it showed a screen that seems a bit more accurate, but I swear I saw 78 once--but either way 77.1 is still real good.

Just reset so it clears the 477. Lot of people dont realize but GPS sometimes loses signal real quick and then jumps to catch up... I have seen my max over 80 on a boat that could not do that, and have a screen shot of a boat that was hard to see 71 showing 74 gps... I suspect that's why we see some inflated top speeds on GPS (unintentional on the owners part) posted sometimes.

What are you saying that 477 is inflated???? LOL
I will reset it, and go after it again. 77.1 was accurate before I added Power Poles.

My Garmin has always matched what I saw during the run. I'm not sure how losing GPS contact would inflation the numbers.......I bet it was just a glitch.

Mine shows 78.9 in my 919. I know for sure I haven't done that type of speed lol unless the dealer took it out before I picked it up and opened it up with nothing in it and hit some amazing speeds! Haha but I doubt that
