Right now, the Fury 24" is as small as you can get.....................I doubt that the 150HO has enough grunt to wing it.........................depending on boat and plate or not.....................it might, but I doubt it..........................Roger

Ranger ships the 188/150HO with a 22 Raker and works great. Depending on the boat weight/size it might. I would like to see the numbers if anyone tried it.

Re: Fury Prop on 150HO Etec (DoferGofer)

hmm..... I am hitting 66.3 MPH on my GPS at 5800 rpms on my 150HO ETEC BassCat Sabre with 24P RakkerII prop. With my performance specs is there data that says the 150 Etec doesn't have the torque spin a 24p Fury Prop. I have read Fury props are adding 2-3 mph to others rigs....

Your e-tec will turn it, you will gain rpm's, the tune-able vent holes will help you there. he is getting5500-5600 .

    I put a 25 fury on my 225ho e-tec 206 champ gained 3 mph and 100 rpm's....
best part is i cut 2 seconds off my hole shot with full load .

Re: Fury Prop on 150HO Etec (Mr.LEAD)

I can hit the limiter with my B&B tempest in a 24p and I have been told a fury is not much if at all better then a B&B tempest.

I would like to try a raker ll, a regular one wouldn't hook up, but my tempest ventilates too.

Re: Fury Prop on 150HO Etec (Lockjaw)

24" Fury is the best prop that I have ran on my 96 Johnny. I had a BB 25" Tempest Plus and the Fury would eat it up on my ride. My post above is based on information that I have received on the 150 H.O.'s......................Get you one and give it a whirl...............the 150 HO should have as much or more grunt than my Faststrike does. Lockjaw, the RII's are whole different animals than the original Rakers and aren't nearly as good props..............metal is very, very soft and bends very easily. Is your tempest a plus?.................you should be able to dial out the "blow" or venting with the plugs...................................Roger

Re: Fury Prop on 150HO Etec (The Green Hornet)

Does anyone now what size prop I should use. Do I go up from my Rakker II 24p to a Fury 25p for more top end speed? Comments have been helpful and aprreciated.

Mine is a plus, but the ventilation is on full throttle take off. If I don't hammer it out of the hole, and them hammer it, it does fine.

I'd have a tough time believing a fury would handle my tempest.

Put smaller plugs in one hole or perhaps two and you will eliminate blowout on holeshot.........Boat should come out of hole at appx. 3100 rpm's.................Roger
