Last year I bought an '88 Sprint Pro 275 with a Mariner 150 (in great shape). It's my first boat, so bear with me on a few ?'s.

(1) how can I get a copy of a manual (or a manual for a model even close to mine)?
(2) any reason you know of why the trolling mtr is mounted on the right side?
(3) the speedometer does not work. Anything I can do other than taking it to a shop?
(4) the bilge pump wont work now either (the light doesnt even go on anymore). Maybe a bad switch?

any advice is appreciated.

Welcome pro 275: The first thing, manuals are really a rare comodity. I bought my boat new and didn't get one. Hopefully some one will have one and share the info.I have no idea why someone would mount the troller on the right side. The speedo if it doesn't have a pickup tube then there will be a small hole in the front of the gearcase. It might be plugged, use a small drill bit by (HAND) and try to clean it out.Same procedure for the pilot tube. Normally that is the problem. The bilge pump might be the fuse or the switch. you will have to check both.Hope this helps. Stay tuned someone else might have some more ideas. Thanks for stopping by and do it often.

Hi, I have a '91 275 with a 200 Mariner. I have never seen a manual for the boat, but I used to have a brochure, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I can't think of any reason why the TM is mounted on the right side of the boat. Mine is mounted on the left.

My speedometer doesn't work either. Had a dealer fix it once, but it quite working again. Forget the speedometer and get a GPS unit like I did. The speedometer is way inaccurate anyway.

It sounds like your bilge pump switch is bad or there is a loose connection at the fuse block (under the console on the right) since the light doesn't come on. I've had a loose connection at the fuse block before, although my original bilge pump did go out and I had a dealer replace it.

By the way, I love my 275. The hull is a copy of the legendary Hydra-Sports X-270, and the Sprint might just me a better constructed boat.
