03 skeeter sx 190 question

I am looking at buying a 03 skeeter sx 190 do you guys think that is enough boat for ky lake

It would be a minimum for KY for sure. I grew up around Paris and had a 18 footer with a 150 and there were plenty of days I needed to stay home. Most days you'll be fine, just use your head and be careful. If it's calling for 15-20 and gusty STAY HOME!!

Any 18.5 boat such as an SX190 should suit you just fine. When the wind is 15+ there aren't many big lakes or rivers that you would want to be caught on in any type of bass boat.

I have an 01 sx190. New fished on Ky lake the last weekend in February and there was 6 and 7 fters. We ran the secondary channels on 3 and 4 fters. It was a pretty rough ride but I never felt "in danger". But I can run 2.5 fters upper 50's and it rides good.
