    Speed?

I am currently looking at a 2008 20i with a 250 HPDI series 2, a 2008 21i with a 250 HPDI series 2, and a 2010 FX20 with a 250 SHO. I have seen various numbers posted about top speed on all 3, but what do you guys think each of these should run with full fuel, moderate tackle load, and 2-225lb guys? Oh and all 3 boats are dual console.

i think they will all be pretty close. i would ride in all of them and see what you like best. 4mph faster aint gonna get you there that much quicker. 20mph would though.

Ballpark, I would say you could expect the 21i would run 70-73, 20i would run 73-76, and the FX would run 74-77mph.

Thanks for the replies guys. That's kinda where I was thinking they would be. I might be going in a different direction now, I have a bead on a sweet 2006 ZX225 for a lot less $. I loved my 2003 ZX225.

    Re: (Thib)

Real world numbers with two guys, lots of tackle, and gas, there will be very little diffrence between the three I would say three miles and hour. With that said, the 20 FX will be the quickest, then the 20I, then the 21 I. I've owned ZX225's, 20 and 21 I's and a 21FX... For the sake of ride, the 21 I will be the best, while the FX20 will offer the best handling. Hope that helps
