I bought a 1994 skeeter 200zx. I am the third owner and the previous owner hacked the wiring up. I am trying to rewire it. The problem is the fuel tanks are in the way for me to do this properly. My question is : How in the world do you get these fuel tanks out of the boat? Please help me, I am about ready to blow this thing up! I am an auto mechanic, but this is not a car. Thanks

On my 07 there are four screws on each corner of the small panels that cover both of my tanks. They are buried in the carpet but if you look hard enough you can see where they were installed. Be careful, the heads of these screws are not that tough and will strip if try and use an electric drill. Hope this helps.

If it's like my boat they won't come out through the hatch 97 SS150, measured numerous times and it wont fit. I've also been told I need to take the top cap off to pull the tanks. I would like to access the bilge area but can only push the tank so far ahead and it doesn't help. Mine is one large tank.
