    Carbs. rebuilt 175 Fast Strike

    Mod.#VJ175GLETG Ser.#G03307546 Fuel leak decided to go ahead and rebuild carbs. as it has never been done. setting float level with carb base but how inportance is float drop copair to float level run boat after rebuilt runs fine but now is hard to start when cold before fuel leak problem always started great never had rebuilt problems before like this thank-you all for your replies

    It's important because it determines when fuel comes into the float bowl, which is where the high speed jet is, and when it stops coming in. To much fuel, and it floods, to little, and it wont' run properly.

    If you had the carbs off, you should probably do a sync and link, and set reset the idle mixture.
