I know this is our Skeeter forum, but WorldWide Marine is worth checking out!

    Guys,

I'm sure many of you guys are way ahead of me on this topic, but as a fellow Bug owner I had to do what I could to spread the word on this as others have in the past. After reviewing a number of options and recommendations found on this site, I chose to switch coverage a couple of years ago to Bob Luellen at WorldWide Marine Insurance. Best decision related to insurance that I've ever made.

From his company's responsiveness when we were structuring my policy initially to dealing with a recent claim - unfortunately took out the lower unit of my Yamaha during a tourney - their professionalism and personal attention is incredible.

I'm not one to jump up and promote someone who provides good service, but they are totally worth switching to. He supports this site and its members and I can't recommend him enough to anyone looking to switch or who might be in the market for new coverage!!

Sorry again for the promo, but what could have been a nightmare a month ago during the tourney turned out to be one of the smoothest dealings with an insurance company I've ever had...

    Okay here is my .02.

I switched last year and saved like $250. If you can swing it pay the full year upfront and save even more. Was with State Farm previously and WWM set me up with Progressive. I had a claim this year, bent prop shaft idling on LBJ, damn grantie boulders will do it everytime. Anyway, my renewal came directly from progressive and it whent up like $160 for a year. I called Bob and WWM, because I wanted to make sure the he was still the agent of record and that he would get credited. Also explain to him that it went up and I am sure it was due to the claim of $1600 which I had to pay $500, so the net was $1100 to Progressive. So he said hold on and don't pay it yet. Comes back the next day and now I am with AIG and it is less than what progressive sent me. So I am all set again thanks to WWM.

Also, do what I did and take photoes of the boat and equipment, rods reels etc. and send them to Diane so they can have them on file. Very Easy to do.
