I have a 2005 TZX200 and some of my latches are hard to open. Is there a way to adjust them or do they need to be replaced? If they have to be replaced can you suggest somewhere to get them?
Thanks!

Is it that the latch itself is hard to move or is it that once you squeeze the latch itÂs hard to open the compartment?
Not sure I can explain this right but:
I noticed that the center compartments on mine press against one rod locker compartment lid more than the other. This is due to the fact that there is only one lid shock and when the lid closes the shock wonÂt allow the lid to close square. It sits a little closer to one side than the other thus applying pressure on that rod locker lid so that rod lock lid is hard to open.
You can shave some of the carpet and/or bend the compartment lid to relieve the pressure (I did both)
If itÂs the latch itself check its alignment over time it can move  screws loosen - parts bend but you should be able to tweak them a little to get them to work better.

it can be a few things or even a combination of all.
1 if you have the plastic D rings, sand can get in the lock and make them hard to turn. I had some like that, so I removed them and blew them out, put some WD40 in them and they worked better. oxidation in the lock can also cause it in which case you have to replace if they're that bad.
2 the latch tongue is too high. they can be adjusted with a couple of half or 9/16 wrenches....(I forget which size) by raising or lowering the tongue
3 the carpeting between the compartments rubs & make it hard to open.
4 sand can get in the piano style hinges-vacuum & blow them out, a little WD40 will help

Thanks for the reply. The problem is the latch is hard to squeeze. They do not seen to be binding due to the carpet once I squeeze the handle.
sorry...it's a different latch then mine, but I would say it's a problem inside the latch mechanism. I'd pull it out, and inspect it on a work bench. might be dirty & need some lube
