Glad to hear you checked the warning horn and determined it didn't function.

Keep in mind- although YOUR particular engine's electrical system may tolerate the "buzzer" you chose, MOST engines require a specific resistance value warning horn (ALWAYS best to stick with the OEM component, to prevent FAULTS from occurring).

Should pose no specific problem on YOUR particular (non-Smartcraft) engine.

I have the very same issue you have described. Cracked cap, I replaced it and everything was fine when I initially turned the key on the first time, but began getting the "beep beep" every few minutes again. Shut the engine down pulled the cap off, then started back until the remote tank filled and overflowed a little bit, put the cap and sensor back in and now I don't get the test sequence at all. The engine starts and runs just fine, but I still get the "beep, beep" when at idle and in gear. what should I do now?

    Welcome to BBC!

Please open a separate thread for your engine, and provide your Engine Serial Number in that thread. Your engine may best fit into one of the three (3) forums BELOW this one.

Keeping separate engines in separate threads helps to avoid confusion and/or thread hi-jacking. Thanks!
