installing recessed foot pedal tray in 93

I have a 93 ss140 and want to install a recessed foot pedal tray. Anyone have any experience cutting into the front deck? My front deck is fiberglass, and when I took a look from the control panel space, there seems to be an off set rib (of fiberglass) running the length of the front deck to the storage compartment. Not running across. Is this rib for main support? Should I not cut through this? It's right where I would install the pan. Also, anyone have any ideas on how to get to the front livewell hoses? I have a leak in one of the hoses. Thanks

Not sure about brace, never had a tray not installed just fine and sold to many Skeeter guys. Hopefully someone will give you details here, if not call Skeeter.

Once you cut hole for a tray you may have plenty of room to access front livewell hose.
