Mine looks just like the material that Sears/Craftsman has for lining tool chest trays.

I was looking at my lids today as i want to add a gas spring to the small hatch on the drivers side on my '05 ZX. It's like a foam backing of some sort.
Current: 2006 ~ 20i ~ 250 HPDI ~ T1-25p
Previous: 2005 ~ ZX 225 ~ 250 HPDI Phase III - TXP 26p
Mine are black padding/foam sort of stuff....I wonder where you can get the stuff or something to replace it... my rod lockers have a raised steel section about 4 inches wide and 18 inches long on the backside. I am recarpeting my boat right now..but I don't really want to re-carpet that area(carpet was previously on it)
I would rather use the black material...but I was thinking of some sort of spray liner or paint.....any thoughts?

spray on bedliner would look great on there
