    Timing question

Help me out a little here. What are the negatives of raising my idle timing? In other words, why couldn't I run say 9 ot 10 degree's instead of the 6 = or - 1 as the manual calls for?

Theoretically, it should make the motor pull better down low, right?

I am just kind of curious. I think I set mine at 8 since I was supposed to raise it for the boyesen reeds.

    Re: Timing question (Lockjaw)

If you put them heads on it you may want to bring it up to 10*.
