2010 Skeeter 21i & 300 Yammie

Hey Guys,

I took some new pics of my bug with my good camera and thought I would share. I have had the boat for just over 1 year and I like it as much as I did when I picked it up. My 12 year old fishing partner loves the boat more than I do and he refers to her as "The Beast". There are lots of sharp color combos out there, but I still think these are my favorite. Sorry the trailer is a little dusty. Any opinions?

The colors are gunmetal, black galaxy, black onyx and red.

The white Ford is Pop's truck and it doesn't pull the Skeeters much anymore.

I agree on the tournament restrictions, but I don't fish with the big boys. I am a small club member. Also, I tend to keep my boats for a long time. And the 300 sure does turn heads!

My friend has an iclass with the 300 and they are not as fast as the FX with a 250SHO

Is the FX a 21' or a 20'?

I think the FX is a bit lighter, though I'm not sure of that. I know for a fact the 21i handles rough water like a dream. The reason I went with the 21 for my last 2 boats is simply because I like a stable ride, especially when I take my kids out with me.

I am tempted by the FX though I have to be honest with you.

Love the colors but what about those black seats. Do they get hot in the sun. I would love to have the exact boat with a 250 and grey seats instead. Only b/c I think the black seats would get too hot and could feel it through the thin TShirts I wear.

The seats got pretty hot last weekend with no wind and 94 degrees but a splash of water on the seats helped. I've had both black and light colors and I sure do like the looks of the black seats.

I have the black and yellow FX that I posted pictures of a week or 2 ago. My seats are all black with yellow insets. Its not half as bad as i thought it would be and im in south florida. No regrets on black seats and they look great. Check out my black and yellow skeeter with matching truck on the site under new fx

I saw those pics and I must say that is one sharp rig. Good job. I toyed with the idea of going yellow/black/white on my boat, which I ordered to spec, but my better half talked me out of it. Plus, I knew I could never drive a yellow truck!

But I sure do admire yours.
