I have a Stratos with a 225 HO Johnson and there is a place on top of my oil tank for a vent tube that is not there. I can not find a place that looks like the other end of this line would hook to. Right now when my oil tank is full it lets oil come out the top of the tank at this vent. Anyone have any idea where this tube would go?
Are you talking about a 90° fitting on another corner of the tank away from the oil hose and bulb area? If so, that should be capped off as it is used as an oil return line on the FICHT and DI motors.

I was thinking there should be a tube from that vent that hooks up to maybe the filler tube like a gas tank vent but can not find anything like that like.
Nope on a carbed motor there is no return line but when they made the tanks they added a return fitting if you ain't pushing a DFI then the return line has no use for you.
So I should just plug that hole up? It does spill oil now when the tank is full.
