NEED HELP

Never had this before, I bought a RakerII 26 pitch, that Chad had worked and re-pitched to a 27 pitch by Mark. that came off of another 201,
I bought the prop a couple of months ago, from Chad Parkinson on here and just got around yesterday to putting it on. Went to go fishing this morning and to run the prop. Drop the Motor 3 1/2" below pad, 2005-225 Evinrude ETEC HO on a 201
Punched it it shot out of the hole like you would not believe, better than the Trophy 26p I run at 2 5/8" below pad. But when I looked at the tac it hit over 5000 rpmsjust breaking over out of the hole. Then the prop went to 7000rpms when I pushed the hot foot down.
Does anyone have any IDEA's
Prop has 26p on it in the hub and markings on it that it was balanced and re-pitched to a 27p. COULD THE HUB BE GOING OUT?
Or could I have knocked something off the other day when I took the Cowling off. HELP HELP HELP
I run a 26 Trophy at 5800 rpm's and a 27 Tempest at 5900.
Did not have the other props with me to test them again.

Not possible.....the limiter is at 6150 on your rig, so something is way screwy with the tach....No way that motor could hit 7000....I sure wish it could though!

I would go back to the original prop and see if all is the same.
