Has anyone replaced the livewell pumps on a 05 SX190? One mine quit at the end of the year and I am just getting it out of storage to start to dig in. Any tips on what replacement to use, and how to get it out would help. I have a tourney coming up the 18th of April so time isn't on my side.
I have the same boat and had the same problem. Mine went out. You will have to remove the oil tank to get to them. The motor cartridge comes out the holder and is replaceable. It's a little tuff to change it cause the gas tank sits on top. You can take the gas tank out if it's empty but not necessary. If it's the same as mine you will have the 500 GPH. I would recommend to upgrade to the 700's as this will pump harder and faster. They can be bought at a local dealer.

FC's right, just pull the oil tank and you can get to them. You might get lucky and only have a piece of trash stopping the impeller from turning, had that happen once. I replaced a couple in mine over the 4 years that I had it and like FC said go ahead and upgrade to the 700, seems like they werent but a few bucks more.
Thanks guys, the pumps are out and the new motor cartridges will be here on Monday. Piece of cake. I did go with the 700s they were only 10 bucks more, and well worth it. Now I have one 500 as a backup just in case.
