To all sx owners

I'm asking all sx owner that have changed electronics from factory install to send pics of upgrades. I don't have a idea of what to do with the hole in the dash and the front of the boat. Does Sketter make a replacement front compartment where the trolling motor plugs and the trim switch is?

Mine came with some carbon fiber looking covers to cover the holes if the original electronics are removed. You shoud be able to order some from a dealer.

Like mentioned you should be able to call your skeeter dealer and get the hole covers. Not sure how much the cost. Also might have your boat serial no. handy.

That'a nice set-up you got there. What did you put in the bow mount hole to keep rain or any other elements out?

There is nothing there. Its wide open. I guess you have to use the boat everyonce in a while to get the weather in there. If it's raining or i know that it's a storm coming i won't go out. Now if i get caught in the rain that's a different story which i have and the water goes straight down to the bilge area. I could stuff one of my towels in the hole it ever caught in the rain. In other words, i'm not that worried about it. One other thing, the boat is stored in the garage so it's not exposed to the weather.

I like your way of thinking. I guess I just worry to much about the small stuff. I don't get to go fishing much so I have to chance the rain sometimes. It is not very often my boat gets wet either.

Something you just have to let go and not worry about. Heck the boat is made to get wet. I'm like you i don't fish a whole lot. Sometimes its several times a month and sometimes once a month. Just depends on what's going on and work around the office. A little bit of water wont hurt it, if anything, it will clean it.

Hi Guys.
Here is what I have done with mine.
Removed Original instruments and fitted gen Suzuki ones , had to make spacers.
Also got rid off the ugly steering wheel.
Up front , removed the nav light socket and fitted a Ram Mount , as luck would have it its is the same diameter , the chrome trim even fits , looks factory.
Put super bright LED Nav lights on polished Stainless Steel brackets on the deck.
Thinking of turning the blank cover on the console into a storage pocket , how about mounting a cup holder like the one next to the drivers seat into the blank off cover ?

Is that an after market radio in the storage compartment? Did you have to do anything special to get it to fit? Thanks

There you go. Also got my portable vehicle Sirius Sat. radio to put in the boat. Great when fishing all day.

I have an '05 TZX200. I wanted to mount the front depthfinder on the bracket rather than in the bow plate. I used a piece of lexan to cover the hole.

I cut a piece the size of the opening and then painted the bottom side with flat black paint.

I put a piece on the inside and one on the outside and used through bolts to hold the bracket on.
