Evinrude 200XP Power Pack Wiring Help

I need a little help. I replaced the regulator/rectifier and got all the wires in place on the wiring block. Now I have 3 single pin plugs that I forgot to mark. 2 were mounted in slots of the case and 1 was not. How can I tell which wires plug together. 2 female plugs come off the power pack 1 female doesnt and the males all come from the wiring harness. Does anyone know what color stripe wire goes with the other. I should have marked them but forgot in the rush to get finished. Also, when I pluged them up like I thought they were suppose to be the motor would not shut off with the key.

Which color wires do you have that need a place to go. The connectors on mine, if they are the same ones you are thinking of, are offwhite with a black stripe, a creme with no tracer, and the other one is under the cover. A picture of what you are looking at would help me a ton. You can email me at todd@moparworld.com if you have a problem posting pics here.

It sounds like a diffrent set-up, all the wires are black some with yellow stripes and some with an orange stripe. I will try to get some pictures to you this evening or tomorrow. Thanks for the help.

Here are some pics of the wires I'm talking about.
These two come from the wiring harness near the flywheel.

These are on the other side also coming from the wiring harness.

These two are coming out of the power pack.

Anothr pic of the two coming from the wire harness, same color wires with mal and female ends.

    Heres another pic

Re: Evinrude 200XP Power Pack Wiring Help (ta3834bbl)

The 2 black with Yellow tracers go to the harness that leads to the shift switch (I have no idea what that switch does), and the other end stays under that cover and tucks into the slot at the left rear (from looking down onto the top of the engine standing at the back of the engine). Anyone know what that switch is that these two black/yellow wires is?
If you need me to take the cover off the ign module for a picture, I can.

Killbe, did you get it running correctly? I have been looking at the wiring diagram in my Clymer manual and can't find those wires, I'm not sure how I got them right on mine.

No not yet, I've tried about everything. I think I'll just take it to the boat shop and let them do it before I really mess something up.

I will take the cover off if you still need me to , but it will be Monday before I can get to it. I have 3 12 hour shifts to do Friday, Sat, and Sunday.

Thanks for the offer, but I just dropped it of at a local repair shop. I decided to just let a qualified mechanic fix it before I mess anything else up. Plus he's going to adjust my idle speed and pack my trailer bearings while its there. Luckily its not a dealer but a certified mechanic running his own business. Seems like a real nice guy and I had a lot of people reccomend him.
