Man where does it stop? Next thing we'll see is 25 year financing. If we all quit buying at these ridiculous prices, maybe the manufactures would get the message. How many of you weekend fisherman can justify paying $70,000.00 to fish once or twice a week? I know that is MSRP, but still it's got to stop somewhere.![]()

What did you pay for that I Class in your avatar line

Wait what did I pay for mine...Ya gotta pay to play
My 2009 21i / 300 Yammie "listed" at $71,495.00, but I didn't pay anywhere near that. Not even close. But what I did pay was way too much for a guy who fishes way too infrequently. I still love it.

You know it just sucks thinking about that. I love my Skeeter, but at these prices they should come standard with the very best electronics, power poles, optima batteries and a few new rods and reels! Wishful thinking!
Both the FX20 and FX21 come standard with a Humminbird 788c dash-mounted fish finder and 728 bow-mounted fish finder with transducers, temperature probes, GPS antenna and InterLink system, and Minn Kota Max 101 foot-operated, 101 lbs. thrust, 36V, 42Â shaft trolling motor. MinnKota 4 Bank Charger and alot more are all now figured into the boat prices. You can still upgrade from these but all models are seeing more equipment as standard features.
A List Price is a List Price, heck it could be $200,000 but what really matters is selling price and you need to talk with your Local Skeeter Dealer to work that out. I sure it's not for everyone but they offer to other series to fit those needs the iClass and ZX Series are still alive and well! You'll be able to purchase the boat you need. Kind of like GM you can buy a Chevy Tahoe or Cadillac Esclade...Same basic product but huge differece in prices and what you get.

if you want to be the new kid on the block with the latest/greatest toy, you're going to pay a premium. Just wait a few years and the prices for used ones will be reasonable, just look at used IClass prices now...you can get a nice 07 20I for around $31k
You also won't have to deal with any of the issues new boats/motors have...that's how I look at it anyways...
I'll be an FX series owner in 2-3 years...

+1 on waiting around to see how it goes. I have never been one to have the brand new model. I will sit on my 09ZX and watch all the new stuff get proved out. Tried and true always works for me. Also have never been the one to want the best or the fastest, must be why I ended up in a ZX vs I. Now they are trumping the I with a FX, jeez.
Can't wait to ride in one though.![]()
real world prices are considerably less than that, no one will have to pay them kind of prices, you can probably take a good 15'000 off of everyone of those prices![]()
It kind of blows my mind that I wouldn't spend 20 or 30 k on a car, but I would for a boat that I can only use 2/3 of the year. I guess buying a new high end boat will be nothing more than a dream for me, but hey I',m happy with my 03 TZX 190. I'm out there fishing & that's all that matters
