    wanting a skeeter

    I am looking for my first bass boat I am on a budget I found a 1999 sx 176 with a yamaha 115 motor is this a good starter boat I also found a 1999 sx 186 with a 150 yamaha what do you guys think

    I am in the market for my first bass boat as well, and I have been looking at the zx190. If you are stuck between those two, go with the 186 with the 150 yam.

    Always go for the biggest motor you can get. You won't be happy with the 115 in a couple of years. Jumped from a nitro with a 125 to a skeeter with a 225. Very happy now, just not at the gas station.

    Be sure to check out the boats for sale on BBC. Lots of boats coming out for sale right now. Get the biggest you can afford.

    i bought a zx 190 w/ vmax 150 about 2 months ago. already wanting one bigger.

    Boats seem to shrink once you put them on the water. Buy the biggest one you can.
