looking to get a 08 SX190, what size rods will fit in the rod boxes? I assume 7' foot rods will fit. Any other info for the 190 would be great as well. Thanks for the help.

I have a 2004 SX190. 7' rods will get in there if you angle them correctly. Most of my rods are 6'6"s, though. I use Stikjackets to keep the rods from tangling, otherwise you'll have a problem. I carry 10-12 rods in the boat just fine with the rod covers.

You can fit a 7' easy in there. I have two plus abunch of other rods. I use rod socks which keep them from getting tangled with each other. At this moment I have about 10 rods in my box. You will love this boat. Going on 4 1/2 years with mine and no problems. Like any other thing I always want bigger and better but that's what I can afford. I have no complaints about it.

I just traded a really sweet 2009 Skeeter SX190 to Freedom Outdoors....
The motor only has about 12-15hrs on it... I would suggest calling Scott or Jeremy about it before you trade.... It is a RED cheery and only traded because I wanted the bigger boat....I carried 12-14 rods no problem....
