What year did the ZX series get introduced? Years ago my partner had a boat that he sold me, it was a 92 model, I bought in in 94. I say it was a zx he says sx. we cant find any of our old pics that show the model #. I know this won't answer the question, but he says there was no zx in 92, I say it was.

He does not have the 92 , but the 93 has a zx.

The ZX200 was introducted in 1994. A couple of other ZX models were introducted a couple of years earlier. At some point, Skeeter elected to move the ZX designation to after the number (i.e. ZX200 become 200ZX).

Sorry I got the designation change reversed - 200ZX become ZX200.

Here is out I'd resolve it....look at the NADA guide for 1992. Every model available is listed. They show DX, SX and some ZX175's. Length is listed beside model in case you have to look it up that way.

+1 plus I looked it up in the ABOS Blue Book, and it doesn't show a ZX200 or 200ZX for 92. It shows the same as NADA.
