How good is this stuff? After every boat trip I wash and wax my boat. Am I just wasting time? Should I just use this stuff instead? Will it protect as good as 3m marine wax?

I am pretty meticulous (sp??) with my boat but couldn't dream of waxing after every trip. I use BBS after every trip though and my boat looks better than new!!!!!!!! Shines and stays slick. I swear by the stuff and so do tons of others!!!!!!

BBS is like 409 for bass boats... It's got some wax in there, but it's really a good cleaner. For wax, I would stay with your marine max - Maguire's Marine Wax, etc..
My process is.... Wax about every 3-4 months and use BBS after each trip. BBS will get the scum line off and also works on the trailer and fenders as well as boat seats and windshield.

I am syco about cleaning my boat. My wife says its the other woman. I just like going out side and being with it. I go fishing on the weekends and on thursday after work wash and wax her. Thats my routine. But if I could use the bass boat saver and only wax maybe every 3 trips it might be a good thing. If I could only keep my wife from steping on the seat every thing would be good
I'll let you know too when mine comes in. I just placed an order.

aric, if you use BBS after every trip you will still be waxing your boat, it will just not take as long, spray on wipe off. BBS contains Carnuba Wax, the best wax you can get for fiberglass! Now alot of people will still use a hard wax one of 2 times a year and that's fine, BBS will keep it looking new after every trip, and will also UV protect it against harmful rays that help cause oxidation.
I bought my boat from the original owner. 97 ZX185C.
He used lots of BBS. My boat is like new.
I used BBS every weekend last summer....still like new!! Hull is shiney, smooth and very slippery to the touch!!
Spray it on everything!!!
While the girl is sun bathing I am cleaning!!!
But I have the shiniest SKEETER around!!!!! Just look at the water reflection on the white!!!

It is GREAT stuff. as stated you will still be waxing when using it. it will stay very slick to the touch.....
Your boat is not white its Almond Gel and yes I did use BBS once in a while. I'm wondering if I shoud have sold you that BUG.

I just bought my first gallon a month or so ago....I started with a clean rag...it did not take too many wipe downs to turn the rag black....I am convinced this is a very good product....replaces the two or three cleaners and wax I used before
