    Harbor Freight

Just ordered one of the buffers yesterday. I've been looking at these restores, and I need to sand my trailer down and will probably rhino it after I'm done.

My comment is that HF should be a sponsor of this site, due to the fact that so many people buy this sander/polisher from them!!!! Or at least they could create a coupon code for BBC!

I have found that MOST of their stuff is only good for one or two uses then it's pretty well done, the good part is they don't charge and arm and a leg for them. just be aware that the buffer will probably not last too long. IMHO

I don't know about that, I have a HF buffer and the only thing that has gone bad on it was the brushes and they give you an extra set with the buffer. To date I've done probably 20 boats with it and no problems. I've bought the multi tool too and it does a fine job! Got a compressor from them too and no issues. Get the extra warranty for a few bucks and don't worry about it.

I bought their multi tool and it has been working great..

I bought it to undercut one door frame so I could not justify spending a ton.. I have ended up using it for all sorts of stuff.

I have had my buffer from HF for over a year now and still works great.

I own a SERVPRO franchise and we purchased one of their multitools to remove drywall when we do mold remediation. It has worked great. It is quicker than a razor blade knife and much less dust than a saw. We bought ours just to see if it would be helpful with the intention of buying a "better" one if we fould it to be useful. So far, no complaints.

I have one of there HF buffer now about five year's. The last time i used it when i stoped it. It made a winding noise, but it has been a good one for the money and it's still going .

I bought one over the weekend! I felt like a kid in a candy store - musta walked the aisles a couple of times just looking at all the stuff. I did walk outta there with a little more than the sander... I will be going back there as I get a little deeper into my restoration.

I got mine form them too. In the bassmaster monthly magazines there has been a harbor freight 20% off coupon.

I bought a Griot's buffer. I later did some research and the HF buffers, or the dual action polishers, test out very well and extremely well for the price tag.

The stuff they carry today it hit or miss. Years ago they had good tools. I have an inline air sander that is over 20 years old, still works great. Floor jacks, 20+ years old. My father bought wood working tools from them many moons ago, table saw, band saw, wood lathe, still working.

I have purchased many HF tools and for the most part they have stood up well. The only one I had trouble with was a sheet metal sheer. I had to return them three times, never a problem receiving a replacement. In their defense I was cutting material that was a tad thicker than the tool was rated for.

This right here is key!! Are they upper end tools? NO, but they stand behind their products better than some of the biggest of the big.
